MNCLand.com – Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) through the Directorate General of Water Resources (SDA) held an “Event to Commemorate the World Water Day” at Lake Lido, Bogor, on Tuesday (April 30, 2019).
The event was held attended by Kartika Nurani (wife of the Minister Basuki Hadimuljono), representing the Minister PUPR, Dirjen of SDA Hari Suprayogi, Deputy Governor of West Java Uu Ruzhanul Ulum, Mayor of Bogor Ade Yasin, Vice President Director of MNC Land M. Budi Rustanto, and a number of invitations from representatives of the Ministry of the Republic of Indonesia as well as the environmental community and the local community.

Meanwhile, in his remarks through the press release, Minister of PUPR Basuki Hadimuljono said that World Water Day which has been celebrated for 27 years since 1992, on this year’s commemoration carries an international theme, Water for All: Leaving No One Behind.
He continued, it was in answer to the need for water in Indonesia, the Ministry PUPR through the Directorate General of SDA for conservation, revitalization, and digitalisation of the infrastructure development of water resources in Indonesia, so that the future can achieve development better targeted based on priorities and direct benefits perceived by the community.
