MNCLand.com – Through its subsidiary PT Lido Nirwana Parahyangan (LNP), PT MNC Land Tbk (KPIG) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with a South Korean construction company named PT Posco E & C Indonesia. This partnership will focus on the first phase of construction of a six-star hotel, high-end residences, and golf course.

This agreement was signed by MNC Lido City’s Managing Director, Andrian Budi Utama and the President Director of Posco E & C Indonesia Cha Seong Cheol at the Grand Ballroom of the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Mega Kuningan, Jakarta, on Thursday (November 9, 2017).

Andrian Budi Utama said that Posco is one of the major contractors in South Korea. He stated his confidence in their arrangement for Phase 1 of the construction of MNC Lido City. “On this occasion, MNC Land, in particular the MNC Lido City project, has signed a MOU with Posco, a large contractor from South Korea, to construct the first phase of MNC Lido City,” Andrian said.

He added that MNC Lido City will become a self-sustained complex with a complete concept. In addition to the phase one facilities to be constructed by Posco, MNC Lido City will also feature a world-class theme park and integrated resort facilities.

Andrian has high hopes for this collaboration, which he believes will produce something completely new that has never previously existed in Indonesia. “Because this collaboration includes the transfer of new technologies, this is an extremely positive development. Posco is one of the leading contractors in South Korea, and I have complete confidence and trust in their abilities,” he said with conviction.

The signing ceremony was attended by MNC Land Commissioners and Directors Amir Abdul Rachman and Erwin Andersen, as well as the Minister of Public Works and Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono.

Basuki Hadimuljono remarked that this collaboration between Indonesia and South Korea on infrastructure development would contribute toward the development of the overall area. Sukabumi will also support access to the area via a toll road. “The development of Lido by MNC Land is an astute strategy. I trust that it will be done in a sustainable manner that protects the environment, because buyers will prefer residential areas which are in harmony with nature,” Basuki said

MNC Lido City is a project of MNC Land located in Lido, Bogor and Sukabumi, which boasts spectacular natural scenery. MNC Lido City is positioned as a “Pride of the Nation” destination to live, work, and play spread over an area of 3000 hectares.
